Free parking
Bilbao Hostel provides free enclosed parking with an extensive capacity for coaches, minibuses and cars. Finding a parking space will not be a problem.
We also have a covered bicycle storage area.
24-hour reception
Our reception is open 24 hours a day. At reception we can provide you with tourist information, the timetables of local public transport services, the option of reserving facilities and any other information or service that you may require.
We also have lockable luggage storage facilities where you can store everything that you need during your stay.
Rooms
Bilbao Hostel has 170 beds distributed across single, twin, four-bed and six-bed rooms with private or shared bathrooms.
In some of the rooms we provide you with the option of staying with your pet or using an additional bed upon request.
Restaurant
The dining room of the restaurant at Bilbao Hostel, with enormous picture windows facing out across the city, provides breakfast from 08:00 to 09:00. This is included in the room rate.
And if you would like to spend the day visiting Bilbao, we can make you a handy lunch to take away with you.
Terrace Bar
Outside Bilbao Hostel, the “Bilboneta” food truck provides a bar service to the tables that form a delightful terrace under the shade.
Perfect in the morning, afternoon and evening, for sunbathing, chatting, making new friends, reading, having a drink, planning your visit or night out in Bilbao and listening to music. You can even reserve this area for your celebrations.
Computer room
One of the spacious common areas on the first floor of Bilbao Hostel includes several computers with internet access that can be used by guests of the hostel.
Check your emails or look up any information you might need, without having to take your own computer along with you.
Television room
Keeping up to date with the news, or your favourite team’s latest match, is easy in our television room.
Here, you can entertain yourself with our extensive list of channels, without having to leave the hostel.
Why not treat yourself to a coffee, a soft drink or a snack from one of our vending machines?
Kitchen and dining area
At Bilbao Hostel we provide you with the option of cooking or heating up your own food in a kitchen that is always ready for you.
Next to the kitchen, and equipped with kitchenware and cutlery, we have a small dining area where you can relax and enjoy your lunch or dinner.
Laundry service
The self-service laundry facilities at the hostel include a washing machine, detergent, dryer and basins for hand-washing.
This service allows you to travel with less things and ensure that your clothes are always ready to use, with instant access to any item of clothing that you may need, for sports activities or anything else.
Sports facilities
Bilbao Hostel provides guests with a free sporting area which includes an open-air football pitch where you can play a game with Bilbao as your backdrop and the estuary as your audience.
The multipurpose area also includes two basketball nets and, close by, two ping pong tables.
Garden area
Bilbao Hostel sits at the heart of an enclosed estate measuring several thousand square metres.
Garden areas, hedges and tall trees surround the building and provide guests with a relaxing and invigorating environment.
Motor home area
Bilbao Hostel provides caravan enthusiasts with two areas for motor homes.
One of these areas is within the grounds of the hostel itself and the other is located by the natural lookout point of Kobetamendi.
Meeting rooms
With training rooms, meeting rooms, offices for receiving visitors and a fully-equipped conference room, we provide all of the spaces that you need to hold meetings in the Bilbao Hostel facilities.
You can also use our large dining area and our tailored catering services for companies and groups.
KASTREXANA BUILDING
An infrastructure that has been designed and developed as a meeting place to facilitate working or training sessions, projects and innovation initiatives, workshops, seminars and conferences.
We are happy to meet your needs.
One floor of the hostel has been fully adapted (both bedrooms and bathrooms) to meet the needs of different mobility levels and there is a lift to facilitate ease of access.
